Angela holds an MBA in marketing from Colorado State University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia. She is a Certified Hotel Digital Marketer and also holds PESO Communications Model certification from Syracuse University.

Angela is a seasoned marketer, brand storyteller, communications, and media expert with over 24 years of experience leading teams in various roles overseeing digital marketing, social media, advertising, PR and influencers, content marketing, and sales. She has launched new brands and resorts and re-invigorated brands to ensure continued relevancy. Her passion is leading teams to develop compelling stories, campaigns, and partnerships that help bring brands to life. As an insights-driven marketer who thrives on understanding both the art and science of effective and impactful marketing communications, she will lead the company’s marketing and topline revenue and demand generation efforts with a focus on increasing customer engagement, identifying new audiences, elevating our narratives, and amplifying our storytelling efforts.

Angela recently oversaw Marketing and PR for Classic Vacations, the leading luxury tour operator and wholesaler where she helped to launch a new digital experience and social footprint for the world’s top luxury Travel Advisors. Prior to her recent role with Classic Vacations, Angela held various leadership positions at Marriott, including Vice President, Global Brand Marketing, Social, and PR overseeing some of Marriott Bonvoy’s largest luxury and premium brands.

In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her two teenage boys, Braden and Colton. She is passionate about preventative health, mind-body connection, nutrition, and fitness and is certified to teach Ashtanga yoga. She is an avid traveler and explorer and believes travel is crucial to “open doors and open minds.”
